Chemical Abilities: Using many different styles, Apostle creates powders and elixers for many purposes.. most of them for battle, or for sinister reasons.
The most commonly used powder would be a hullucigen, either mixed with liquid and drank or absorbed into the skin or inhaled somehow, this purple powder is
of Apostle's own mix made up from the Datura plant and other chemicals. Upon reacting, a small being would simply fall asleep and have terrible dreams
and sweats, dying shortly after. A larger bodied person would endure the worst of this, becoime incoherant to all reality for more than 24 hours, not only
allowing Apostle to kill them - but to take them away if he wished..
Natural Abilities: Increased reflexes, strength and speed. Nightvision.
Natural Weakness': Sunlight.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
The most noticable feature about Apostle is his eyes, they are piercing and always intense, they
are of a pearl silverblue color that change in dark and light, he rarely blinks. He has long wavy black hair that stops halfway down his back. He has a
defined jawline with a small black goatee, he has a slim face which remains void of emotion at all times. He carries a cold aura about him, the only real
emotion he shows is anger or insanity. Most of the time he is seen wearing a thick but lightweight black cloak, a hood drawn deeply over his head; which
casts an unnatural mask of shadow over his face, he wears black dragonhide gloves which are overlapped at the wrist by long sleeves. He has a sword handle
poking through a purpose made hole in his cloak, just behind his left shoulder which reveals a black gem and gold decorated sword handle, the sword is
sitting tightly in a sheathe strapped to his back. He wears black boots and black pants under his cloak. He wears a belt around his pants which contain
another sheathe of a short sword, and he also has various weapons and powders stashed elsewhere on his body due to paranoia and his chosen lifestyle. His
voice is a whispery but audible one, again it is cold and carries no hint of emotion or 'humanity'.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Apostle is known to be of an unstable mind, some would call him downright insane. He hears
voices, some he calls 'the shadows' some he calls 'Destiny..' wether he is a beacon to powers elsewhere or simply schizofrenic is unknown..
but he is definately 'Mad', and at all times unpredictable and has a dangerous mean streak. He can go from peaceful to savage within seconds and
with little provokation... He is a fearless warrior who's victories in battle and wars have earned him his reputation and his assets. Apostle is smart
and a thinker, every word and action he commits has thought behind it and meaning, he always remains one step ahead - a key to his survival for years. He
is an Assassin by trade, but an assassin can only stay hidden for so long. Now he is much more open in his dealings and is known to assosiate with many
groups from many realms, his alliances are unknown but they are thought to be powerful and have proved to be so in past conflicts. Although unstable, he
has proved himself loyal to his allies and what little friends he has ever had, killing and almost dying for them without a second thought. He is sadistic,
and his pain tolerance is high. He spends alot of his downtime in Dungeons or in the Darkness.. just watching..
Current Locations: The Edge of Madness (Shangri-La)
Apostle now makes his 'home' on the shadows laying just off the island of Shangri-La,
once upon a time the castle with it's tall towers and menacing look stood on the cliff face, two days walk from the town of Salamander and it had
previously been called many others names, The Shadow Castle, The Marble Halls. The full extent of this buildings magnificence was not revealed fully until
Apostle truly lost his mind, twisting his shadow magic, his insanity and his anger and hate into one self-destructive spell and cast it upon himself and
his lands, the spell was rushed and untested. It had tore Apostle's castle and it's earthly base from the cliff it stood on, projecting through the
very fibres of space, the floating cliff face with the castle atop it appeared one day without warning on the already dark corner of Shangri-La, the
shadows lurking thick and deep and the general area was rumored to feed on the sanity of a person, playing with a person's mental status and causing
insecurities in the strongest of minds.
the Arcane Fortress (The Abyss)
The Arcane Kingdom is a massive, self sufficient city that lies in the depths of The Abyss.
Within the Kingdom is an Academy called the Arcane Fortress. For the majority of his life Apostle has come here to further his ongoing training in all
ancient arts, magical, physical and mental. Only recently has he been given permission from the Elders to teach his own branch of magic to his own choice
of pupils, although this alone did not make him a master in the fortress. The Elders remain a mystery to everyone who enters, even Apostle. Their race,
their origins and more specifically their magical resources are unknown, for the Elders never leave the Fortress. The Arcane Fortress also has a big
gladiator arena where mages and fighters alike could duel one another.
The Dungeon/Garden of Dreams (Frost Knights Fortress)
For years Apostle's loyalties have wavered to whoever could provide him the highest price, but his alliance with the Frost Knights could not be broken
by any price for a reason unknown to just about everyone. His twisted way of thinking and simply his demeanor makes him perfect for his position. Recently
appointed Dungeon Master for the third time in his long life, he spends his spare time bathing in the misery of his prisoners, attending to their misery.
The Dungeons are long winding catacombs with many passageways that travel under the Frost Knights Fortress, home to those who have broken the laws of the
fortress, brought harm to the fortress or have fallen prisoner in some way..
